Documents that require Personal Service.

– Summons to Payment Hearing (Form 12)

– Notice of Claim (Form 1)

– Notice of Application (Form 17)

– Summons to a Default Hearing (Form 13)

– Summons to a Payment Hearing (Form 12)

– Subpoena (Form 21 or 22)

– Summons (Form 2, Form 3, Form 4 under Criminal Code) 

– Order to Show Cause (Contempt)

– Summons for Default or Contempt Hearing

 

Provincial Family Court of British Columbia

– Application about a Family Law Matter (Form 3)

– Application About a Protection Order (Form 2) 

– Applications and Court Orders Notice of Motion (when personal service is required)

– Subpoena to Witness 

– Order for Examination of a Party 

– Protection and Enforcement Documents Applications for Contempt of Court 

– Protection Orders (must be personally served unless the court orders otherwise)
